My wife and I were thrilled to see your wonderful show this afternoon with our group Remembering Black Dallas. As a young teen following Top 40 in the 60's, Little Richard, Fats Domino & Chubby Checker became my first exposure to the "other" Rock N Roll, which led to so many marvelous performers. Music truly is a map to a more diverse world.

Great show! It was worth the drive from Oklahoma!! When Julian Blake took the stage as preacher, THE ATMOSPHERE IN THE THEATER CHANGED!!! That was a POWERFUL performance!!!! I highly recommend seeing this production! EVERY vocalist is talented!!!!! This play was an awesome way to celebrate my 60th birthday. May God bless and prosper the ENTIRE cast!! Little Richard would be so proud of the gifted/portrayal of himself!!

My family and I, drove down from metro Detroit to see this show and it did not disappoint. My son is a HUGE little richard fan, pretty much since hearing tutti frutti at one years old, the music just speaks to him. We stopped at little richards boyhood home in Macon, ga last fall and got pictures but the museum/house seems to be out of business. Its a shame, he (richard) deserves a stronger legacy for all he gave us. In fact we were very disappointed to see no blues note for little richard on Beale, i wrote the city and complained because he deserves every bit of recognition just as his counterparts of the time have gotten, (jerry lee, elvis , etc). The show, the acting, the music and talented singing was all on point.
